Never mind the spy. What a great start to the season for both teams (1st and 2nd) let’s keep this good run going. Keeping steady, focused and having the right attitude (training as well as games) will hopefully see both teams prosper at the end the season with silverware. Just to let the grapevine know the Cat is not dead. He merely has done his back ligaments and a joint (not disc) and should be resuming his feline presence at training in a month or so. I really enjoyed our first friendly on Saturday and was pleased with the commitment of the team and the pace of the game consiering it is still early..I'd like to thank the Milnthopre team for travelling down and providing a stern teat..We have the away leg to come this weekend and am disappointed with the squad(not enough players available) that will be travelling and feel more effort could have been made by the regular players to make this game considering the fixture has been arranged for over a month..!! However, we will travel and take some of the younger members of the squad so it will be good to see how they go on against a strong Milnthorpe team.
